Privacy Policy

Perspective helps founders build AI-native fundraising rooms. The product handles sensitive company materials, extracted text, AI processing, viewer identity, agent reads, room events, analytics, retention, subprocessors, and support access as part of the hosted workflow.

Information we collect

  • Account information, including name, email, organization, plan, credits, billing status, collaborator details, support messages, and communication preferences.
  • Founder-controlled room information, including uploaded fundraising materials, extracted text, file metadata, founder profile details, room settings, room package outputs, generated summaries, and export records.
  • Viewer and agent activity, including viewer identity, agent reads, human room views, material downloads, timestamps, room events, tokens used for shared links, IP-derived diagnostics, device or browser information, and basic analytics.
  • Payment, referral, and operational data from payment processors, authentication providers, analytics providers, email providers, and other subprocessors used to operate Perspective.

How we use information

  • To provide hosted fundraising rooms, AI-native room bundles, agent-readable endpoints, human-readable room pages, upload processing, room exports, credits, billing, account access, and support.
  • To run AI processing requested by founders, including extraction, classification, summarization, claim review, investor-read preparation, and room coherence checks.
  • To show founders how their rooms are accessed, including viewer identity, agent reads, downloads, timestamps, and related room activity.
  • To secure, debug, analyze, improve, and operate the product; prevent abuse; enforce terms; comply with law; and communicate about accounts, rooms, policies, and product updates.

How we share information

  • We share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate Perspective, including hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, email, payment, support, security, and model providers.
  • We may share room information with viewers, agents, collaborators, or export recipients when a founder publishes, shares, includes, or exports a room.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce our terms, or as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • We do not sell uploaded fundraising materials. We do not make uploaded materials public unless a founder chooses to publish, share, include, or export them.

AI processing and model providers

  • Perspective may send selected text, metadata, prompts, generated outputs, and room context to model providers or infrastructure subprocessors to perform requested workflows.
  • Where available, we configure model-provider relationships so customer content is not used to train general models. Provider-specific commitments are described in our subprocessor list.   • Support access is limited to operating, debugging, securing, supporting, or improving the service, and personnel access should be governed by confidentiality and access-control obligations.

Retention and deletion

  • We retain account, room, event, analytics, support, and billing records for as long as needed to provide the product, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and keep business records.
  • Founders may delete or change rooms and materials in the product where controls are available. Static exports and files already downloaded by others cannot be recalled by Perspective.
  • We may retain limited backup, security, audit, billing, or legal records after deletion when reasonably necessary.

Your choices and rights

  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information, and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising uses.
  • Perspective does not currently sell personal information for money. If we use advertising or analytics tools that legally count as sharing or targeted advertising, we will provide the required opt-out controls.
  • Send privacy requests to privacy@perspectiveapp.io. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children, security, and changes

  • Perspective is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
  • We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet service is perfectly secure.
  • We may update this policy as the product, law, or subprocessors change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page and, where appropriate, notifying account holders.
